Kareem-Asli's is a disappointing love story set in the Turkish province of Astrakhan in the 16th century. Kareem's father was a dictatorial Muslim king in Isfahan. Asli's father is a leading priest in the Christian community.
The priest refused to marry his daughter for a muslim, violating the boundaries of his religion. Moreover, the priest fled from Isfahan in fear of the king cause of the political riots.
Kareem, who had lost his girlfriend, went in search of her with his friend Sofu. It has been a long time since Kareem wandered the streets singing and writing poems in memory of his beloved.
Years later Kerem found his Asli. Kerem, who had won the favor of the king of Aleppo, was forced by the king to marry her daughter. But on her wedding night, her father put on a cloak on her wedding dress that Kareem could never take off cloak and so he can't feel his daughter.
Finally, on the first night, Karem couldn't take off the cloak , fire of angry had replaced in his heart then, Kareem burned in that fire , unable to join his girlfriend. Asli tried but could not put out the fire. Eventually, Asli was burned in the same fire.

In fact, their story is similar to that of Asley and Keram, who are famous in Turkey.At one point a sultan and his minister disguised themselves to the bazaar in grief of not having children. They were walking through the streets of Bazaar when they came across a Dervish.
He approached Darwish with sad eyes and asked them what the problem was. The sultan said they had no children and wanted to help us somehow.
On hearing this, Darwish divided an apple into two parts, one part given to the Sultan and the other to the minister, and said: This is what you should eat at night. The sultan will have a daughter and the minister a son. The daughter's name will be Zahra and the son's name will be Tahir.When they reach the age of marriage, they should both get married. " .
After accepting all the criteria and happily thanking Darwish, the two returned home. A few days later, they had two children. They grew up. Years passed. They both reached the age of marriage. But the sultan's wife refused to let Zahra marry Tahir. They imprisoned Tahir on various charges.Yet when Tahir refused to leave Zahra, he decided to kill him.
But before that, Tahir left. Disappointed, Zahra returned with him to the immortal world.
